What Is a Fragrance Oil?
A fragrance oil is a blend of essential oils combined to create a specific scent. Essential oils are extracted from plant sources like flowers, leaves, bark, and roots. Essences once taken from animal sources are now typically reproduced synthetically.
When these aromatic essences are blended in the right proportions, they create a finished fragrance.

Fragrance Oils and Aromatherapy

This blend is also what makes perfumed body oils last longer once applied – the oil base helps the scent stay on the skin.
